Italian carrier ITA Airways has announced new and improved connections to the United Kingdom (UK), in response to growing demand from customers in both leisure and business sectors. The airline is launching a new nonstop flight between Rome Fiumicino (FCO) and London City Airport (LCY), with 12 weekly frequencies, operated by the new Airbus A220-100. This service will start from April 1st, 2024, and will offer customers more options for travel between the two capital cities.
In addition to the above, ITA Airways has introduced a fifth roundtrip flight from Milan Linate to London City, which will be available for sale from April 10th, 2024. The flight will also be operated by the Airbus A220-100.
The UK market is a key area of focus for ITA Airways, and the airline said it is committed to providing daily connections between London and its hubs of Rome Fiumicino and Milan Linate. “This will allow customers to travel more easily and conveniently, with a range of options available to suit their needs.”
Travellers can purchase tickets for the new connections on all ITA Airways sales channels, including the official ita-airways.com website, the company’s call center, travel agencies, and airport ticket offices. With these new connections, ITA Airways is helping to make travel to and from the UK more accessible and convenient for all,” the airline said in its statement.
