Air Arabia, the low-cost carrier in the Middle East and North Africa, has recently unveiled its plan to introduce non-stop flights from Sharjah to Kabul, Afghanistan‘s capital.
This new route, set to commence operations from January 10, 2024, will connect Sharjah International Airport directly to Kabul International Airport on a daily basis.
Adel Al Ali, the Group Chief Executive Officer of Air Arabia, expressed enthusiasm about this addition to their network, highlighting its significance in offering an enhanced travel experience to customers within the UAE and beyond. “The introduction of Air Arabia’s direct flights to Kabul is a testament to our ongoing dedication to providing passengers with value-driven and affordable air travel, as well as new destinations to explore,” he said.
The airline prides itself on operating a modern fleet comprising Airbus A320 and A321neo-LR aircraft, known for their comfort and efficiency.
The inaugural flight, IX 2789, is scheduled to depart from Delhi at 11:00 hrs and land in Ayodhya at 12:20 hrs on December 30, 2023. The return flight, IX 1769, will depart from Ayodhya at 12:50 hrs and arrive in Delhi at 14:10 hrs. Ayodhya will be Air India Express’ 45th destination and the third operational sector in Uttar Pradesh.
Moreover, passengers can benefit from ‘SkyTime,’ an in-flight streaming service offered free of charge, allowing access to a diverse range of entertainment directly on their personal devices.To facilitate bookings for this new route, customers can reserve their seats by accessing Air Arabia’s website, contacting the call center, or utilizing the services of travel agencies.
This initiative, said the airline, seeks to cater to the growing demand for accessible, cost-effective air travel options while broadening the horizons for travel enthusiasts exploring Kabul and the UAE’s connecting hub in Sharjah.
